You will be able to apply for properties through Tandridge HomeChoice if you are a housing applicant and have registered on the housing register, or you are a tenant of Tandridge District Council or one of our partner Housing Associations, and have registered for a transfer. For details on how to apply to join the housing register click Who Can Use the Service or complete an online application form by clicking here.
Either at the start of the scheme or when you are accepted on to the housing register we will write to tell you:
You must tell us if there are any changes in your circumstances so that we can reassess your application and if necessary make changes to your band and priority date.
You will only be eligible for properties that are suitable for the size of your family. The following table tells you how we normally decide on the number of bedrooms that you are eligible for:
| Number of Bedrooms | ||||||
| Household Type | Bedsit | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |

Because of the shortage of larger properties, applicants who are eligible for four bedroom properties may also be offered large three bedroom properties on occasions.
Children will not usually be expected to share a bedroom where they are of opposite sex and at least one of them is over 7 years old or where they are of the same sex and there is an age gap of at least 10 years.
A separate bedroom is required for each member of the household over the age of 18 (with the exception of partners and same sex siblings)
