The Council is continuing to advertise its vacant properties through Tandridge Home Choice. This is because it is important, that people who need to move to a new home are still able to and properties do not sit empty unnecessarily.
However, we realise that as a result of the current situation many people may not want to move or be able to move at the moment.
If you are in this position, we do completely understand. Please do not place any bids on vacant properties until you are in a position where you feel able to move.
Tandridge District Council's way of allocating council and partner housing association properties for rent.
We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised each week. The first day of advertising will be on a Friday, the last day will be on a Wednesday.
You will not be able to bid or view properties on a Thursday.
You must then tell us which properties you are interested in. This process is known as bidding. You may only bid for a property if your application has been accepted onto our housing register. Your 'bid' must be registered by midnight on a Wednesday. You will be able to bid for up to three properties each week.
Our website is packed with useful information to help you find a suitable home. You can use this website to:

Nonsuch Abbeyfield have partnered with Transform Housing and Support, who will have a Domiciliary Care office in the building and can provide care services as necessary.
The building is now complete and will be opening its doors for new residents on 25th March 2020. A range of facilities are available including a restaurant, cinema room, fitness suite, club room, library and extensive gardens, all overlooking the sports fields of Epsom Sports Club.
To be considered for the scheme applicants must be over 65 and have a care need of between 2 – 15 hours per week (as assessed by Surrey County Council). Priority will be offered to applicants nominated by Epsom & Ewell Borough Council and then applicants from other Surrey councils.

As you may already know we are also working in partnership with two other authorities – Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley – on East Surrey HomeChoice.
The aim of East Surrey HomeChoice is to help housing register and transfer applicants apply for social rented homes in any of the four East Surrey areas.
Up to ten percent of all social rented homes that become available each year will be advertised as East Surrey HomeChoice properties and be available for moves across the council boundaries.
This scheme works in much the same way as Tandridge HomeChoice. Available properties are advertised weekly and eligible applicants will be able to bid for these homes. You will see these properties listed as ‘Sub-regional CBL’ when you search for properties on the Tandridge HomeChoice website or in newsletters.
