Queens Court, South Nutfield property has been withdrawn due to being wrongly advertised, it will be advertised again from Friday 18th September.

Covid-19 Update

The Council is continuing to advertise its vacant properties through Tandridge Home Choice. This is because it is important, that people who need to move to a new home are still able to and properties do not sit empty unnecessarily.

However, we realise that as a result of the current situation many people may not want to move or be able to move at the moment.

If you are in this position, we do completely understand.  Please do not place any bids on vacant properties until you are in a position where you feel able to move.

Through Homechoice you will be able to access your own housing application for social housing and to make any necessary changes to it. You should use this service to notify the Council of any changes to your circumstances.
If you are not currently registered with Home Choice, you can now use this service to apply to join the Council’s Housing Register.  Please go to Log in / My account and select apply for Social housing.
If you have any queries regarding the changes, please contact us via the website.

Tandridge District Council's way of allocating council and partner housing association properties for rent.

We aim to give you more choice in deciding where you want to live. Properties that are available for rent will be advertised each week. The first day of advertising will be on a Friday, the last day will be on a Wednesday.

You will not be able to bid or view properties on a Thursday.

You must then tell us which properties you are interested in. This process is known as bidding. You may only bid for a property if your application has been accepted onto our housing register.  Your 'bid' must be registered by midnight on a Wednesday.  You will be able to bid for up to three properties each week.

Our website is packed with useful information to help you find a suitable home. You can use this website to:

  • The pictures of properties that you will see on the property search pages are generic pictures of the roads, blocks of flat or schemes and are meant to give general guidance of the location that the available property is in.
  • You may NOT AT ANY TIME view the interior of any available property until you have been contacted by the landlord and arrangements for viewing have been made.
  • If you have logged in to your account page on a public PC, please remember to log out before leaving the PC.  You can do this by using the Log out button on the right hand side of the tab bar above.

You Can Also Access East Surrey Home Choice Here.

As you may already know we are also working in partnership with two other authorities – Epsom & Ewell and Mole Valley – on East Surrey HomeChoice.

The aim of East Surrey HomeChoice is to help housing register and transfer applicants apply for social rented homes in any of the four East Surrey areas.

Up to ten percent of all social rented homes that become available each year will be advertised as East Surrey HomeChoice properties and be available for moves across the council boundaries.

This scheme works in much the same way as Tandridge HomeChoice. Available properties are advertised weekly and eligible applicants will be able to bid for these homes. You will see these properties listed as ‘Sub-regional CBL’ when you search for properties on the Tandridge HomeChoice website or in newsletters.
